Executive Summary

Led a 6-member team analyzing DePaul University's international graduate admissions pipeline 7,695 applicant records across 95 countries and 6 intake cycles. Delivered a 4-page Google Looker Studio dashboard with 12 interactive charts and real-time filtering. Identified that only 8% of admitted students enrolled a post-admission yield gap representing DePaul's largest untapped enrollment opportunity. Discovered that Nigeria and South Korea converted applicants at 2-3x India's enrollment rate despite receiving minimal recruitment investment. Recognized as Star

2The Problem

DePaul's admissions data spanned 7,695 records with significant quality issues: duplicate entries, GPA scores on incompatible scales (Indian 10.0 vs US 4.0), inconsistent country naming, and 14+ free-text lead source categories. The admissions team needed actionable insights, not raw data summaries.

Operating Constraints

Trainee-level engagement with limited prior dashboard experience. Raw enrollment data required extensive cleaning before visualization. Fixed presentation deadline with client-facing delivery expectations.

3Objective

Create an admissions analytics dashboard for DePaul University international programs, clean and transform raw enrollment data into actionable visualizations, and deliver presentation-ready analytics for program leadership.

4Approach & Method

Why This Approach

Invested upfront time in data cleaning before visualization because presenting unvalidated data to DePaul program leadership would have risked credibility. Structured the dashboard around enrollment trends and geographic distribution because these were the questions program leadership needed answered.
